Douglas D. Nichols - Attorney and Mediator

Law Practice

Attorney Douglas Nichols practices Collaborative Law, Divorce, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate, Civil Litigation, the Administration of Probate Estates, Wills and Trusts. He practices in both Hampden and Hampshire counties of Massachusetts.I practice in a number of different areas of the law, as you can see from the list below. I always try to use my more than 35 years as an attorney and my many years of life experience to obtain the best possible outcomes for my clients.

It is important that my clients be active partners in the matters that I handle for them. I go out of my way to stay in touch with my clients and to keep them informed as to the status of their matters and cases.

Regarding legal representation in business matters, I make it a point to limit my advice to the legal issues.

Because, from both a time and cost standpoint, settling disputes is much more efficient than using the courts, I make every effort to negotiate a settlement before resorting to litigation.

If litigation is required, I will aggressively make use of the trial process and will use my best efforts to win the case for my client.
