Mediation

Mediation Services in the Ludlow, Massachusetts Area

Lawyer With Over 38 Years of Experience

If you are involved in a civil dispute and you want to avoid the time and expense of protracted litigation, you may want to consider mediation as a way to meet your goals with less acrimony and expense. A mediated settlement will give you more control over the outcome and often leads to a better long-term solution to the problem. An experienced mediator can help you understand the process and determine if mediation will be appropriate for your situation.

At the law offices of Douglas D. Nichols, Attorney at Law, we offer mediation services to individuals who want to resolve a civil dispute without the time and expense of litigation. We have built our successful practice on our commitment to communication. We take the time to listen carefully to all of your concerns and make certain that you always understand the advantages and disadvantages of mediation. Contact our office or call us at 413-998-0613 to set up a free 30 minute initial consultation.

Our Mediation Practice

Attorney Nichols is a trained mediator who has helped individuals successfully resolve a wide range of civil disputes, including divorce, contractor disputes, problems within families and real estate matters. With his experience, he knows how to build trust between himself and the parties involved. He has successfully mediated many disputes and he treats both sides fairly while keeping an open line of communication at all times.

When attorney Nichols agrees to mediate your dispute, he will act as a third party neutral. His role in the mediation is to facilitate an agreement between the parties, helping you understand the benefits of resolving your dispute through mediation and the potential consequences of taking your dispute to court. He will also help you identify stumbling blocks and identify creative solutions to overcome obstacles.

Attorney Nichols will help you formalize any agreement you reach and obtain the court's approval of your agreement when necessary.

To schedule a free 30 minute initial consultation to discuss how mediation can help you resolve your civil dispute, contact us or call us at 413-998-0613. Our office is open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and evenings and weekends by appointment. Our mediation fees are reasonable and we will travel to meet with you, if necessary.
